I would too. We tried two locally and weren't pleased. They both tried to upsell.

Dr. Timothy Porter Animal Clinic of Wildwood. 352-748-6348 next to Amish Furniture Store in Wildwood. Not a fancy office, but he's a seasoned vet with common sense. He does not upsell. Must love cats because he has two friendly ones that sometimes come out and greet you.

We've taken our cat, Charlotte, to Colony Plaza Animal Hospital for the past two years and have been very pleased.

My vote goes to Dr. Valdez at Park Heights, next to Nearlee New Furniture on 441/27. He's never tried to upsell to me. My bridge partner is a retired vet who has subbed in many vet offices here. This is the vet he recommends. His second choice is Dr. Porter.

Default Mobile Vet

We use Dr Angel Smith with Healthy Pet Mobile Vet. She and her vet tech, Dana are wonderful. They are prompt, come right to your home and are very reasonable. So happy with their services and that we do not have to stress our cat by taking him out.

I have not been to Dr. Porter yet but I have always heard very good things about him. I plan to take my 2 cats and ShihTzu to him when I move to The Villages.

We either have to find an easier going vet $$Money Wise$$ or go back to work. I think it Dr. Porter for us. I would never speak badly about our vet now other than you get the feeling it's all about "The Benjamins" because of the upsell factor.
