Hi all, we are transitioning to our home in Caroline from Atlanta and we have two senior Pomeranians. We are looking for reliable and trustworthy pet sitters willing to stay in our home with our babies when we travel and occasionally for day sitting. Also any good veterinarian recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you!!

For pet sitting, contact Away from Home Pet Services (352-391-2323). Joan, who runs this, acts as a coordinator and will help you find someone. She arranges both in home and in the Pet Sitter's home care. The people who are her pet sitters pay a % of the fee to her. We have had very good luck with the people on her list. We often travel 2-3 weeks at time. The last time we picked up our dog, he thought twice before joining us in our car to go home.

For veterinarians, we use The Animal Clinic of Leesburg. (352-326-8940) While we have used other vets in the area, we have found this clinic to take great care of our dog without trying to sell unneeded services, pet insurance, etc.
