I BEG TO DIFFER JBlum--- I have a 15 year old cat "Cooper" who was a feral kitten (black) and was captured at 3 months. He is VERY playful and loving - wants to be pet and have his "butt" patted BUT does not want to be held. "Coopy Doopy" is a VERY loving (but skittish) former feral who also LOVES his Teddy as seen here in photo!!

Yes, you can have two domestic pets per household.
But cats must be kept indoors or in the birdcage, they are not allowed to roam around.

I said "often" not "always." I had a friend, an elderly lady, who was attacked in her bed by a feral cat she had taken in. She ended up in hospital for 4 days with "cat scratch fever," yes, there really is such a thing.

I saw the two cats that Lovinganimals is feeding and they are beautiful.

These two kitties appear to be purebred siamese. So sad that they get to live in a parking lot. As she said above, it takes more than one person to make these kitties lives better so the more help the better.

The parking lot cats in The Villages make me so sad. Thank heavens for people like Lovinganimals - I think she is just terrific.

I tried looking for a blushing smilie but couldn't find one, so this is me blushing
but I am far from doing this alone. Thanks to Bare, Kathleen, Terri, Cyndy and everyone else who has helped with these animals. They are truly the most beautiful feral cats I have seen and if I could adopt them, they would come with me as one is very affectionate toward me now and I think she could make a great pet. The other one still needs work though. If in the future they both become friendly, I will try to find them a home (or adopt them myself when I no longer have my pets). Thank you again to everyone who has helped.
