Wondering how you slept last night? There is no way I could have left without calling the police. I don't care how long or shot you think you'll be - it's abusive to leave any animal in a car for any length of in this weather. Please don't ignore it should it happen again - you could have possibly contributed to the death of a dog last night...

You should call the police. By the time someone has to be found that poor dog could die . Cars can get over 120 degrees or much hotter in Fl. When I lived in Arizona you frequently saw billboards reminding you to not leave a child or animal in a parked car. We need a few around here.

There has to be another way to express your concern for the dog without attacking the OP. She may have second thoughts since she took the time to post the message.

I posted what I would do, but it's not necessary to trash the OP, who was asking the community to be kind to puppies. I have extensive experience in abuse situations, but most people wish they knew what to do and post out of compassionate frustration.
