Does anyone own a Havanese puppy or grown dog? Looking to buy one but we would like your comments regarding disposition and family pet!

WE have teenage nieces commming to visit over the holidays and thought it would be nice to take them riding. Are there any places close by that you can ride or offer riding services>

BestMom put out a recent post about a wonderful horse Sanctuary nearby The Vllages that has very gentle riding horses. Im sure if you pm her she will be glad to give you all the info you need. Good luck, I want to try it myself when we get back.

I'm assuming you mean Havanese. Never heard of Hanaese. They really are adorable dogs. If you don't want to spend a small fortune, try to find a smooth-haired one. These cannot be shown and, thus, are only sold as pets. A good breeder will seriously knock down the price of a pet-quality dog.

You might want to pick up a copy of the AKC magazine (or any good dog breeding one) at one of the pet stores. They will have a list of dog shows in Central Florida. Find a show that is an all breeds or small breeds show. I'm sure one or more of the breeders there will happily point you in the right direction to find your pup.
