Local animal advocate passes away
Tish Hennessey passed away as noted in the link below - I am a volunteer and know that Tish truly appreciated all the folks here in The Villages have done to help The Sanctuary.

Thank you for letting us know about Tish Hennessey. I volunteered at the sanctuary for two years. Tish was a wonderful warm and generous person. She will be greatly missed.

I have been volunteering at All Creatures Sanctuary since October 2010. Every Saturday, along with other volunteers, we walk dogs and clean pens. Knowing Tish, working with the wonderful dogs and making lifelong friends has made me a better person. Tish saved wildlife, farm animals and dogs for over thirty years. She will be missed by so many.
