Ritchie deserves a home and a bump......I wish we were ready, but Lila wants to be the #1 doggie in our home, and deserves it, since Bouv has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Isn't he sweet? I hate that he's getting depressed.I pray someone helps!!!

He is a happy healthy little guy with a wonderful spirit. He was owned by an elderly person who did not take good care of him and he lost all his hair except for his head, face and legs. Fumar! This is a chance to redeem yourself!!!!

Ronda, you are such a doll. I showed Ritchie to a young couple today who seemed interested but I got the "Ill think about it ". Ritchie is 10 but he acts like a puppy.

Ronda, I have this feeling that Lila would really love to have Ritchie for a brother. 8)

Nonie, I was at Doggie Doo Run Run one day with my two dogs.
Someone arrived with a little blind dog, just a sweet and loving little doggie. The lady was looking for a good home for the dog. Before an hour had passed, one of the compassionate people there had adopted the blind dog. It was heart warming.

Perhaps you should pack Ritchie when you come south next week, and take him to DDRR every day until he gets adopted. At least 50% of the people who go there have rescue dogs. They are a wonderful group of people.

Second that about the DDRR. Caring group of people by in large.

Check out Scout's tail some time while you are there it is almost hairless. Scout's a shih tzu.

Nonie, what is Ritchies' status? Has he found a loving home or is he on his way to The Villages?

Re: Ritchie the hairless poodle needs a loving home

Peachie,

Unfortunately neither, but thanks for asking. Ritchie is still at the shelter and there has been no interest in him. I dont think its a good idea for me to bring him down in hopes that someone might want him because if I cant find him a home then I would have to keep him,

I have had to be strong for 19 years now or I would have a house full of cats and dogs. I am hoping & praying that by the time I go back North, Ritchie will have found his forever home. I will be in contact with our shelter while Im in TV. If Ritchie gets adopted, I will make a big announcement on TOTV.

Thanks again for your concern.
