Default Shelter Reform for Sumter County

We have not posted or encouraged people to go to the meetings at the County Courthouse. We go and listen to keep up with what the county is, or in our case isn't, doing for our shelter.
The next meeting is at Colony Rec Center in The Villages. We are requesting you be there.
First, we need to pack the house. The Commissioners continue to tell us they are doing what the residents want. We KNOW that is not true. The only way to get their attention is to continue to attend the meetings and tell them what YOU want!
[COLOR=#1D2129][FONT=Helvetica]Second, we have filed another complaint against the county AND the Humane Society in their involvement in killing our pets. The last time, only a few of us signed the complaint. This time, we are giving EVERYONE the opportunity to sign the complaint.
We will have the complaint at the meeting for everyone to sign. We will send you a copy of the complaint if you wish to see it.
Next meeting at Colony Recreation Center at 5:00 PM, Tuesday, January 23, 2018
Bring your friends and neighbors.
[FONT=inherit]Come and sign the complaint. It's time we let the commissioners know what the residents want!

If your pet gets picked up in Sumter County, there if only a 40% chance of it coming out alive. That number is worse if your pet is a cat.

Please join us to stop the Killing at Sumter County

The next meeting is Tuesday at 5:00 PM at Colony Cottage Rec Center at 5:00 PM
