I just wanted to share just a few of the cute photos that are going to be in the rescue's fundraiser calendar.

Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida is putting together a fundraising calendar and you are welcome to add your dog's photo. If you do not want to enter your dog's photo, you are welcome to vote for someone else's dog to win one of the coveted spots in the calendar. NO your dog does not have to be a dachshund. No your dog does not have to be rescued. It is open to any and all.

The purpose is to raise as much money as possible so dogs being rescued can get dentals and whatever injuries or illnesses taken care by the vets so they can find wonderful new homes.

There is a $10 donation/entry fee, which is part of helping with the vet bills. The calendar company that runs the calendar website is like Talk of The Villages, Facebook, etc. in that they do require you to set up a sign in account. But it is so worth the extra few seconds it takes because you will be helping make some little dog's life better.

Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida is currently taking pre-orders for copies of the calendar to know how many they need to order. They should be printed and ready to ship in late Oct. or Nov. Calendars are $20 each plus shipping.

Thank you for looking at the photos. And for those wondering about the little guy in red doing the handstand, he is a former Low Rider foster dog. He has no back legs or tail due to having to have them amputated. He is a spoiled little guy who has adopted by an amazing couple. He has to wear clothes because he is paralyzed in the back and has to wear diapers. I swear this little guy has more clothes than I. (laughing) Again, thanks for looking at the photos.
