There is also the concern about local predators (coyotes, snakes, alligators, etc.) who will ignore an electric fence. Please reconsider letting your pet out when you are gone or unsupervised.

If your pet can go out the doggy door, other critters can get in. This is why we never leave our garage open. I found an enormous black snake in our garage the first fall we lived here!
