“Take Two, They’re Small” Returns to Save More Kittens in Sumter!
July’s “Take Two, They’re Small” Kitten Adoption event was so popular that YOUR Humane Society SPCA will be doing a repeat as their second wave of beautiful kittens is ready to find their purr-fect families. This time around, the special reduced adoption fee offer will run an entire week, from Saturday, August 1st through Saturday, August 8th. Adoptions will be by appointment at their no-kill shelter located at 994 CR 529A in Lake Panasoffkee and at two participating Villages retailers, PetSense, at 1088 Canal St. and PetSmart at 3667 Wedgewood Lane. Additionally, the two retailers will be hosting their own special kitten adoption events. Many more kittens will be in attendance interviewing prospective adopters at these events. Meet them at PetSense on Saturday, August 1st and PetSmart on Saturday, August 8th, both events run from 10AM – 2PM.
Kittens, any who are under a year old, will be “two for the $75 adoption fee of one” when adopted simultaneously. This adoption fee includes spaying/neutering, up-to-date vaccinations, FIV/FeLV testing, deworming, flea treatment and a microchip … as well as the obvious of two bundles of feline fun as wonderful companions for years to come. Adopting two kittens at the same time will keep each other entertained instead of the single kitten who will wear you out with their antics. COVID-19 safety measures will be in place in all locations for everyone’s well-being. Application forms are available at the retailers and people can also apply online now for their picks of the litters at Adopt – Your Humane Society SPCA to be pre-approved and take their two new kittens home that day. Be a part of the solution and “Take Two, They’re Small!” YOUR Humane Society SPCA is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill organization helping animals in need throughout their community as Sumter County’s oldest and largest no-kill shelter. Donations directly help to cover the cost of saving, treating and caring for neglected, abused and abandoned animals. Learn more about them at hsspca.org, 352-793-9117, on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter or visit them at 994 CR 529A, in Lake Panasoffkee, FL. Office open: Mon.-Sat. 8am-4:00pm. Kennel Pet Viewing: Mon.-Sat. 9:00am-3:30pm. Visitors are always welcome however, due to COVID-19 concerns, they are required to make an appointment until further notice. ### |
