Tickets Available for Purr-fectly Fun Kitty Bingo on August 5

As we return to a “new normal” gathering safely, YOUR Humane Society SPCA has had many requests by the community for another KITTY BINGO Night, so they will be hosting another furry fundraiser on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the Wildwood Community Center located at 6500 Powell Road, Wildwood, FL 34785. This fundraiser is possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of Mid-Florida Agencies, the Cat Crazy Villagers, the Parks/Rec & Special Events Wildwood FL and Donna's Dream Cakes.

If you’re new to what Kitty Bingo is, this feline, fun-filled evening will feature approximately 15-30 adoptable kittens and possibly a few fun-loving adult cats from YOUR Humane Society SPCA, Sumter County’s oldest and largest private no-kill shelter. Thanks to volunteer kitty wranglers, these frisky felines will be available to join players at their tables for cuddles, kisses and good luck while they play bingo to win many prizes. Participants can also try their luck at a 50/50 chance drawing and a chance to win $100 in Florida scratch-off lottery tickets. Proceeds will benefit the care of the animals at the shelter.

Since Kitty Bingo has sold out each time, don’t miss being part of such a purr-fectly fun evening. Tickets are just $12pp in advance or $15pp at the door. Get tickets before they are gone at YOUR HSSPCA or simply text bingo to 80888.

Doors will open at 5PM and bingo will run from 6:00-8:30PM. Each ticket includes 6 bingo cards. Additional bingo cards will be available for sale the night of the event. Refreshments (food, beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages) and popular animal themed merchandise will also be available for purchase. It is requested that coolers are not brought to the event in order to support the fundraiser.

Under Florida statutes: 849.0931 (10)(a) re: Bingo & Minors: State law prevents anyone under 18 from being allowed to play any bingo game or be involved in the conduct of a bingo game in any way; and 562.11 Selling, giving, or serving alcoholic beverages to person under age 21; (1)(a) A person may not sell, give, serve, or permit to be served alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age or permit a person under 21 years of age to consume such beverages on the licensed premises. 562.111 Possession of alcoholic beverages by persons under age 21 prohibited.
