An elderly lady passed away. She did not fix her pets …and so, left to breed, there were nearly 50 abandoned dogs in her home at the time of her passing. (Not in The Villages). The Animal League took in as many as they could afford to house and rehabilitate. The dogs ranged from small Corgis to larger hounds. The Animal League (aka South Lake Animal League) needs help taking care of these dogs along with all the many other dogs and cats in their care. Check out their video and their website to learn more about them and all the good works they do. They can use monetary help, donations of dog food and supplies. They have a Wish List where you just order on your computer and the items are shipped direct to them and you never have to leave your house.
