Such sad news. I was lucky to get to see the Everley brothers perform in London in early 90's.

I have so many memories of him. Very sad indeed.

Sad news indeed. The Everly's were very inspirational to many, many singers and songwriters who came along in the sixties.
Only 74. A victim of cigarettes.

That's sad. So many great hits and so influential. Introduced bluegrass to rock and roll. Dream, dream, dream Phil.

One of my favorite first impressions of TV is related to an Everley Brothers song. I started going to water aerobics classes when I first moved here and I noticed every time the instructor played their song "Dream" everyone in the pool sang along. Being a person who sings along to every song, I thought this was so magical. :p
