Winter care of palm and bird of paradise

First winter ! Any suggestions for the palm and bird of paradise plant. Should they be wrapped ? All winter or just when temps drop below freezing?

Depends on the type of palm - would definitely wrap the bird of paradise. Google frost blankets and you will get lots of good information about how and when to wrap the sensitive tropical.
