I have never watched Downton Abbey but all my friends are talking about it and I would like to watch it. Does anyone know how or where I can rent the DVD's all 3 seasons so I can catch up. I tried my DVR, and Netflix and I can't seem to find all 3 seasons I can only find the 4th...any help would be appreciated...thanks

If you have Amazon Prime, all three seasons are available

My friends are also obsessed with Downton Abbey. I'm also looking for the first three seasons. I was hoping I could find them on Netflix, so thanks for answering that question. Does anyone seen the DVDs for sale or rent?

I just got hooked a few months ago, just after season 3 ended. I watched seasons 1 and 2 "on demand". Then, after much research, I found the only place to get season 3 was Amazon Prime. That may have changed now that season 4 has started.
Amazon Prime membership is about $79 per year. You get movies and faster shipping, plus better prices, etc....however, I signed up for their free 30 day trial offer. After watching Downton Abbey, I couldn't find any other benefit, for me, to keep it, so I cancelled. If you order much from Amazon, it might be a good deal for you. I don't.

I just checked E Bay and the three seasons are available for around $35. Now I'm going to check "On Demand" to see what's available. Thanks for all the great suggestions.

We just watched the program for the first time last night, and now we are hooked.
Thanks for posting all the info about how to get to see the previous seasons. I will probably do Amazon in late Jan. - we will be home for a while then.

Last year, I was able to get them from the Pinellas Library.

It is on Apple iTunes. We paid $15 for season 1. I watch on our TV via iPhone and Apple TV.

I just called and reserved the three DVDs at the Belevedere Library. Thanks for the suggestion. :coolsmiley:

Yeah ... Downton Abbey is an excellent show, and quite addictive.
Mary signed us up for Amazon Prime's free trial (good for 30 days). We had some Downton Abbey marathon's and watched the first three seasons (and got us 'hooked).
And season #4 began January 5th!
Best,

The first 3 seasons are available on Netflix - DVDs, not streaming. Just type in Downton Abbey in the search box.

I loved seasons one and two, but for some reason I did not watch season three. I saw the first episode of season four the other night and got hooked again. So, with the help of "apple tv", my ipod and my amazon prime membership, combined with our cold weather, I have been marathoning season 3. What a marvelous show! It reminds me of when my wife and I were just a young couple (in 1971) and we would watch Upstairs Downstairs together.
