Hot chili powder or garlic powder. Rabbits don't like the smells. Here's an interesting article with more suggestions. Additional suggestions are in the comments. Good luck.

When we brush our dog's, we keep the hair in a bag and spread around the plants to keep the rabbits out of the garden. The also dislike marigolds and we plant them in several locations.

Do what we did, put up fences. It keeps them away from plants and works even in the rain. I like the rabbits around they trim the plants we have in pots that grow down onto the ground and I feed the birds so the rabbits eat the plants that start from dropped seeds.

Get a $35 trap at a farm supply or Lowe's/HD. Take them to the woods as you catch them..
where I moved from I had feeders too and bunnies love fresh sprouts. and possums and coons love the seeds. I relocated 3 possums and 3 coons within a few months time.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I'm going to try a few - no fences though! I always get great information mixed with humor:laugh::laugh:

We used blood meal purchased at Walmart in the garden section. I found this from an internet search and it was the most common successful means of keeping them away. It did work. My husband sprinkled the blood meal over our plants and the rabbits stayed away. I will caution it does have an odor, but it won't harm your plants and it won't harm any animals.

Put a small sign in your garden which reads....
COYOTES WELCOME, ALL YOU CAN EAT.
Mom always said that Rabbits have good eyesight because they eat carrots, so plant plenty carrots to keep the Bunnies at 20/20.
If any others stay after that, well.. "What's up Doc"

The scariest encounter with rabbits I ever had was when my girl friend in high school told me the rabbit died. Then her father told me I was a dead duck.
