Hi everyone. "Sueclark" posted a few days back about Mahjongg games getting too large and busy at the rec centers. I am beginning a new thread on this subject because things tend to get lost when threads get too long. I noticed in "Sueclark's" post that there were many people wanting to learn how to play Mahjongg. I am one of those people! I am wondering if there is anyone out there interested in TEACHING Mahjongg? If we could find a teacher, I would be happy to host a Mahjongg night at my house for beginners. From there, we could try to form a group or two to meet at people's houses. Please let me know if you would be willing to teach. I will contact you and figure out a good night and then start taking names of people interested. I do know you can learn at the rec centers, but again... this time of year it is hard to get in to get a table to learn at! I am just hoping there might be someone willing to give it a go at my house. Stay warm everyone!

My wife is also interested in learning, and We will be returning to the villages on Jan.11. We live in The village of Pinellas, and I will contact a person that I met in November who said she would be glad to teach my wife. My wife said she would be willing to have a group at our house as well. Keep in touch. Thanks.

I went. To Sue C.'s home last night and she and her friend Carolyn taught me in a very short time. I believe it was her intention to do the same for all those she invited. Sue and Carolyn are excellent teachers and a lot of fun. Why don't you just contact her? We are playing again next Tuesday night.
