I ran across a link to the Orlando Sentinel. The article was from 2011 but was extremely unkind to the village ownership and their desire for rental fees. Cancer benefit thrown for a loss by Villages - Orlando Sentinel (http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2011-02-06/news/os-lk-lauren-ritchie-relay-for-life-v20110206_1_cancer-survivors-cancer-benefit-developer-h-gary-morse).
Were these issues ever resolved.

So, simple answer is no Relay for Life in TV itself but the one in Wildwood still flourishes.

a great event that was enourmously popular and well attended when it was put on at TV high school sports field for most of our 10 years here.
Then evicted once TV affiliated with a certain national cancer center because the American Cancer Society would not contribute a percentage of the Relay for Life donations to TV project!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Relay for Life is wonderful and still exists close by. Let's not lose focus for WHAT it is intended; to honor survivors and to remember those who have passed and to keep hope alive.
When the Morses allowed it to be held on the Charter High School grounds it was well done, even including a lunch for survivors and spouses, really more than any other I had attended in any other place.
It was HUGE and probably close to the limit then as to not being able to hold all who wanted to attend. Our population has since grown and blessedly, cancer survivors along with it.
I don't think there is a space on site that could hold ALL of us now.
