Looking for hardwood or laminate or vinyl installation

Can people steer us toward either vinyl, laminate or hardwood beside the obvious price differences. Also, we have been to Floor Masters and The Floor Shoppe on 301 and Great Lakes in Ocala and East Coast Flooring on 441. Any comments on any of these 4 floor dealers for both pricing and installation. Thx very much.

We are currently having flooring installed by Masterpiece Flooring, located on US 441/27 in Fruitland Park. Tried to match tile that was installed previously (pre-owned home) Great Lakes (The Villages) never bothered to call us back after visiting there. Floor Shoppe had the same tile, but was much more costly to install. Masterpiece worked with us and so far, the job, while messy, is going well. Masterpiece did a friend's laminate floor and it is beautiful. If interested, our sales person was Shannon at 352-787-4036. Hope this helps.

We intalled laminate flooring from Great Lakes last year and were very satisfied with the price AND the installation. I was impressed with the selection of flooring options and the help our sales lady provided. We brought in a sample of the kitchen cabinets, and after we had picked out a couple of choices we thought matched, she picked a couple samples and told us to take them home and see what we thought. Of course, when we got them home, her selections were MUCH better. And the installation crew was very professional. They even asked us if they could play music while they worked. I would go back to them again.

Bob Caprio, a villager, is fabulous! He installed our laminate flooring. We bought the laminate at Lowes. With the laminate and installation, we spent less than $500. The room is 10 x 12. He was there at 8:00 and done by 4:30. His phone number is 259-8813.

Nancy, are you saying the laminate PLUS installation was less than $500? Seems very inexpensive!

Absolutely correct! And the laminate we bought was guaranteed for 25 years.

Hi, we used East Coast flooring, they are FABULOUS! What a beautiful job they did. Jeff is the salesperson, who is very helpful. The installers are true artists! I wanted the molding removed, the floor installed, and the molding replaced. All I can say is, just beautiful.

The Floor Shoppe removed carpeting (new) in three bedrooms and installed laminate. Very professional, cleaned up and no damage. (see photo)
