Would like to know how the food is at the Havanna Club. Plan to take guests there tonight.
Went there last night with another couple. We opted to sit outside because the singing waiters are so loud and kind of korny. The menu was very limited and pricey. The service was terrible, the food was o.k. but brought out to us cold. We keep trying to give Havana a chance, but are disappointed almost every visit. P.S. The men's restroom was disgusting.

Interesting commentary as a neighbor was explaining the Havana experience the other day and suggested we go. I explained that TOTV reviews of this restaurant had never been complimentary, and apparently not even with singing waiters

I heard it was rather stuffy and not very good. Friends said don't waist your time. We rather enjoy Evans Prairie. Fun people good food!

Have eaten at Havana a number of times, most recently to give them another chance. Food is mediocre at best, service is slow. Even my ladies group which goes in for lunch after a round of golf doesn't eat there when we play Havana. Evans Prairie and Bonifay are much better.

Getting to the point: Been involved in this business and I CANNOT understand why Management does not train their employees. Who owns this? No owner would allow the lack of cleanliness, poor service, etc. etc. etc.. The help could care less about the customer. I saw a waitress sneeze into her palm, then serve customers. Bartender hasn't got a clue how to wait on customers. Tables waiting for service and help not busy...Unbelievable....I would love to talk to OWNER...not manager...WHO IS IT...?

Obviously, neither the owner nor the manager particularly cares.

I agree, he is a very nice guy. However that does not make him a good manager/businessman. Over the years he has proven he is neither. Havana needs more than just a "nice man" to make it work.
Of course that's just my opinion, and as my wife keeps telling me "that don't mean much"!
