I am very fortunate to enjoy seeing the work of many wonderful artists because I attend art classes around town. I know there are many of you who are working on interesting things, not only pictures but wood projects or quilting or knitting.

I would love to see pictures of what you are working on, or what you have completed. I bet others would as well. Please don't be shy. We have all enjoyed Shrandell and alemorken's photographs.

I guess I will be the first. This is a glass engraving I completed this morning. Hope to see some other pictures posted!

Thank you Gracie! I use a dremel (sp?) type electric tool and actually engrave, not etch, into the glass. Last year I was looking for something new to do and found the glass engraving class at The Lifelong Learning College. It's been really fun and believe it or not easy to do.

I will try to upload.
This is what I finished just before I left home and am working on a black and white version currently with a silver wrapped stone I got at the craft fair a couple of weeks back. It is Kumihimo braided silk cord with embroidery threads and #8 seed beads.

This is my most popular piece I gave as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago and have been asked to make more by the family.

I think the engraving is great. Beautiful and so flowing.
Does it require a steady hand? My mind is running through all the detail I could add to my stained glass but I'm not real coordinated.
