Hedge trimming and pruning

I am looking for recommendations for someone to trim hedge and prune plants and cactus. Any suggestions? Thanks

Unless I'm wrong, we don't prune until after the frost, I think late March except for Crape Myrtles which are pruned(not hacked off!) in late Feb.
