You will need to search the providers on your advantage plan website to find the dentist that accepts your plan.

Yep I know I can look up a dentist in my plan but I'm looking for a recommendation. Would like to get opinions from those who have had experience with some of these dentists. I have United Health Care. Any recommendations?

You can call or drop by the United Medicare Advantage office and they'll give you a list of providers!

Why would you not contact your provider for this info?

We have dental insurance. I didn't know that there was coverage for dental care through Medicare.

I've never heard of Medicare or United Health Medicare supplement making any provision for dental care. News to me.

We have United Care HMO and the only dentists they have in their network are Aspen Dental which does not get good ratings. We are going to go on our own to a dentist that has good ratings and is close to home.Southern Trace Dental.

I also have United HMO and there are three more listed in the United book besides the Aspen Dental (which are not worth going to. Check closer.

We use Kathy Williams, Palm Ridge Dental. We have United Healthcare, Medicare Advantage They file the paperwork and within 10 days we usually get a check for partial refund of the services rendered. Great Dentist.

Thanks. That's the advice I was looking for. I haven't heard good things about Aspen Dental either and was wondering where to find a good dentist. Hopefully one who takes Medicare Advantage.

I have contacted my plan administrator. They read off to you what's in the book. That's not a big help. Nobody there can offer an opinion one way or another. Sure was hoping other Villagers would share their experience. Maybe I didn't phrase my question correctly

I'd be looking for the same information. Let me know if you hear anything.

Hey all, I think what this poster is really asking for is a personal recommendation of a local dentist who also happens to be in their Advantage plan. So, if you have someone you really like maybe you could recommend them here. I would but I don't live in the area. Don from Sun Lakes, AZ
