What have you done, if anything, to your front entry?
The concrete is ugly and I don't know what to do with it.
Suggestions?
Thanks!

The front entrance was changed from screen doors to wrought iron entrance into our courtyard...

We had the driveway and walkway painted with a herring bone pattern and we also installed a sliding hide away screen installed.

I had Amy Newsom paint our front entry and it is screened in also. The driveway and sidewalk are also done to match. I now have a very nice front lanai that is screened and keeps people from walking right up to our front door. We also have a door bell out there by the screened area.

Chatahoochie river rock is lovely but it does not last. Ripping ours up after 8 years. Get's hazy white after 6 months and needs resealing too much. If it's out of the sun and rain, it does well.

Hmmmm... I had river rock for 20 years down in SWFL. I pressure cleaned and resealed it every year and it stayed fabulous. I only had decocrete put over it when I went to sell the house to "modernize" it, but I loved my river rock. The sealer always said be sure the RR is dry before sealing or it would cloud...maybe that's what happened to yours. :(

This would make me feel more secure with a locking ironwork between myself and anyone approaching. Love it. The brick on the path is beautiful also.:coolsmiley:

Could you tell me whether it is true brick or is it stamped concrete? Yes, quite nice.

How did the Architectural Committee allowed the entry? It's very pretty.

We had the walkway torn out (all the concrete) and then had really nice pavers installed. We carried it out from the entry to make a courtyard area in the front. ********* Landscaping did it for us and we could no be happier.
