The complimentary All Singles Block Party sponsored by Village Singles Club will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 at Brownwood Paddock Square (note winter hours).
Village Singles, Sumter Singles, Baby Boomer Singles, All Village Singles welcome. Meet at balloons. Theme: Jokers’ Wild. Wear Your Lucky Card: Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, Spades? Be the Joker! Prizes! Sign in with Greeters; meet/greet/mingle & dance; fun for dancers & observers! Afterglow: 8 PM at Brownwood City Fire. Wear: name tags, tennis shoes (dancing on concrete); bring a pencil & chairs. WOW - saturday is a party day as this event will almost be running concurrently with the LaHacienda gathering at 4 PM.

I have to find a way to be at two places at once. :smiley:

and if it is chilly in paddock square, meet us movie buffs at brownwood theatre for the 7pm show of Secret Life of Walter Mitty! then we can all go to city fire brownwood afterwards! so that's hacienda at four, paddock square at six, movie at seven and then afterglo at city fire brownwood! quite a day for everyone! :)

i think she means that the TOTV crowd is having happy hour at hacienda country club at four. perhaps the band music mixx is playing? would be fun to put some faces to the names we see here each day! hope gracie is going! :)

It's at the La Hacienda Country Club, and not the rec center.

Just a get together, with most people from TOTV. Just a couple of drinks, laughs and some dancing. At least that's what we did at The Waterfont Hotel the last time we met.

Dougb and pammyj are a fun couple, to be with. Hope you can make it!!!
