Looking for a primary care doc not listed with The Villages health and is American. Every time I find a good doctor they leave the practice .

Dr, Burress, Lady Lake Family Practice on 466 just past Rolling Acres Rd. by that RV Park. VERY good!!

Dr. Martinez - Cruz 352-750-6650 is an Internist.
He is Hispanic, We highly recommend him as he is THE MOST fabulous doctor. Very friendly, easy to talk to and NEVER rushes you. We love him, and I know of others that do too.
He is located at 1400 N. US Hwy 441 right behind the hospital.
…………. If you are going West down Camino Real, take a right directly before the hospital entrance, and keep going straight for about a block and the office is in the very last office on the right.

You will feel like you stepped back in time, to the old style approach, of talking to his patients.

I will not use Premier Medical Group no matter how good/highly recommended the doctors are there. The issue is not the doctors themselves, who may be terrific, but rather the setup of the practice. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a message through not only a doctor there but even the MD's nurse and get a callback. If the need for this kind of communication is unimportant to you, then ignore this posting. If you need to know that you can get through to your doctor or one of the staff members, that that individual will receive the message and act on it with a callback or some other response, then Premier Medical Group is not for you either.... I for one cannot feel I am being properly treated with this constant and ongoing breakdown in communication.

On the other hand, I found Dr. Martinez Cruz from posters on TOTV and others and agree with LuckySevens. He is easily available, and not only during office hours; he gives out his cell number and his email address for established patients who might need to reach him when the office is closed. And he even has Saturday office hours!

Dr Helene Aisenstat at the new Pinellas Health Center. My husband and I both use her. Very easy to talk to, can be reached with questions via internet with a quick response. So far so good.
