6 month foster needed

I am starting to look for a foster home for approx six months (Starting in May)for my little dog. She is 8 years old, up to date with all shots, spayed, crate and house trained.

I really do not want to go into all the sad details here, but please be assured the descision to post this has not been done lightly.

I don't understand. Why do you need a foster home for only 6 months but it was a tough decision? Is this because you are heading up North and can't take her but will when you get back? Or are you looking for a foster home for 6 months until you can permanently place her? What type of dog, is she cat and dog friendly?
