Three us had dinner there last evening. The service and the food were excellent. Entree's include soup or salad and a starch or vegetable. I had an amazing veal dish layered with zucchini, mozzarella, and asparagus. The other 2 had rib eye steaks that were cooked perfectly. I tasted my husband's steak and it was delicious. Looking forward to returning to Jeffrey Paul's very soon.

Every week there is a $20.00 off 2 entrees for anyone that wants to try because it is expensive.

My husband & I visited this restaurant last April and would never return. A look at reviews on tripadvisor.com would back up our experience. The sad thing was that the filet was among the best we have ever tasted, but not worth that amount. Jeffrey commented to us "it's amazing how many people come when you are getting something for nothing" - something for nothing - never. Vastly overpriced, dirty and dark.

Have to agree! The place is old, dirty, bug-infested & Gross. You can get a real edible steak at your local Publix / Winn Dixie / Wal-Mart or The Golden Coral. The owner is also an obnoxious, loud mouthed whack-job. Based on my experience there, their advertisements / coupons in the local publications to entice folks into this establishment qualify this place more as a Criminal Enterprise than a High End Steak Restaurant. My meal was so bad that I left 95% of it on my plate. My wife and the other couple we dined with left 75% of their meals on their plates. What I find to be totally amazing is the fact that when they cleared the table, lots of uneaten STUFF, no one even asked if there was a problem. pretty strange / weird / scary place. Couldn't pay us to go back there.

We just hope, Vic Embers opens again after fire. They have the Chophouse out classed by far. We didn't care at all for Chophouse either. Prices were really overboard for what you get, and atmosphere was yuk. I'm sure there are other restaurants in Ocala, or near by, that are special for that special occasion.

Thank you for your review.
Rib Eye Steak is by far the best available in the local area. Try it with a Pittsburgh Char and you'll love it. Can't imagine anyone complaining to the extent that they would make a comparison to the Golden Corral slophouse. Publix, WD or WM never sold a Rib Eye anywhere near the quality of what you get at JP. If some folks don't want to pay for a quality meal they shouldn't go there.

We ate there a few months ago and felt it was the best steak we've had in this area. It is pricy, but worth the money, especially if you use the coupon in the Daily Sun. I agree that the atmosphere is not the best, but the steak is wonderful.

We've owned in TV since 2005 and finally made it to Jeffrey Paul's Chop House for dinner tonight. Compared to NY steak houses, JP's menu is not unreasonably priced. Our steaks tonight were cooked perfectly. It was one of the nicest dining experience for us here in Central FL. We'll definitely go back again. Yes, it costs more than Outback but we feel it's worth it for a special dinner experience.
