Auto Mechanic Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good auto repair mechanic, I have a Toyota Avalon. Being a seasonal resident, not sure who is good.

We've had very good experience with Hutson Automotive Repair on 441 in Fruitland Park. They've been in business for more than 30 years, and my family has been using them since 2005.

Another vote for Michael's. He is honest and does quality work.

You won't spend anything extra for what you want done, as some places do when you bring your car in for service, and they start telling you, that you need this, and or that.

I had to try Michael since y'all rave about him. It's true, he's honest, didn't try to upsell me. Had work done on my passenger door lock and it wouldn't work correctly after his fix. Came back to get it right, he apologized and gave me a free oil change for my trouble.

Think I found a new mechanic.

I had heard of years ago that Tri County had numerous complaints against them. So I was thinking with the good recommendations here they must be either under new management or ownership. I just checked their BBB rating and it is "D" You may want to look at the Better Business Bureau site first. I know of many people that use both Hutsons and Michaels and have had excellent results with them and fair pricing.

We just had another repair on my mother's car by Michael in Fruitland Park. He is honest and we have been happy with his work.
