Comcast "Limited service"

AS a TV owner who is still trying to sell a house up north before we move to Florida, I would like to get Comcast service but on a limited basis since we are not here very often. I understand the limited plan costs $11 per month plus taxes with an installation charge of $40.

Is anyone using this service and are you satisfied with it? HOw far in advance do you need to schedule installation?

Does the $40 installation charge cover just 1 inside cable jack or up to as many as 4 or 5

With taxes what is your bill...we are not considering high speed interent at this time??

Also by signing up now for limited service will I not receive any promotional specials when I finally move here?

I am in the same situation as yourself up north and here in the villages maybe about 6 times a year and have limited comcast we get about 21 channels my bill is about $13.00 a month good choice the only thing I had all my cable outlets activated at once because there is a charge every time have to activate them I think I activated 2 when I first bought last May 15, 2006 The only thing is I miss ESpn when I am Here Vinny

How many of the 21 channels are worth looking at?

These are the Channels that I get with my basic service. In the Villages you will be so busy you will not have time for more channels then this.

The key channels you get are VNN, all 4 network channels and the Weather Channel.

You can turn it on and off with no monthly charges at all. And you get better programming and more Hi Definition than with cable.

You will NOT get your bang for the buck from COMCAST and they will not be receptive to any complaints.

You need to explain what you mean...I will be getting ABC, CBS, NBC and the weather Channel plus sone other stuff I may not use. What "bang for the buck are you talking about??? This seems pretty simple with little hasle.
