I am wondering if there is a place where you can find out everything that is going on at each of the squares on any given weekend? I have gone several times to villages.com and the to the "special events" link, but then later find that something happened the previous weekend that I would be interested in but wasn't on that website. Frustrating! I just read on a forum post that there is a home and garden show at Lake Sumpter Landing on 2/1 but I don't see it on the "special events" link on the villages.com site. I also know you can get it in the Rec News, but that doesn't always list everything either. Sometimes I like to plan things with family a few weeks ahead of time, so it would be convenient to know when things are going to be happening. Anyplace else I should be looking?

There is a monthly calendar which comes in your Daily Sun at the beginning of each month and that seems to be pretty comprehensive. But, I have to agree with you, I will often see something that happened the day before which I would have gone to had I known about it.

Here's a link to an activities calendar for monthly activities at the squares. It's always a link on the Vmail each month

The Villages Vmail - January 2014 - Special Events (http://www.thevillages.com/newsletter/201401cF4tWn0/happenings-events.htm?code=VE1401&acct=3243815&auth=48762)

Enjoy...

I have an app on my iPhone that's called town squares, and lists all activities at each of the squares, movie times, country clubs, and rec centers.

:agree:

I put my copy, on the coffee table, for future reference, to what's happening.
