Just wondering about restrictions in these large RV motor homes - did I mention large - parking on residential streets. It is almost impossible to see around them when trying to back out of your driveway. Is parking of these large motor homes allowed on residential streets? At times, it is parked out there for three or more days at a time.
Just wondering.........

The Villages has a policy for short term, on-street, over night parking for these RV's, usually it is for 1-2 days, for loading and off-loading, NOT for overnight camping.
Every Village or neighborhood may have slightly different covenants or deed restrictions, so you may have to research the ones pertaining to your area.

I believe they are permitted to park in the street for up to 72 hours. They also are not permitted to be hooked up during that time period, as I would assume that would be an indication of someone residing in them. The villa neighborhoods may have a different policy under their own guidelines.

Most of the streets in TV are county or city streets. Parking is not subject to The Villages deed restriction but is subject to county regulation and public safety needs.
If an RV was blocking my driveway I would call the police or sheriff not The Villages.
The villa roads are not county roads and are controlled by The Villages.

The R-V's certainly can be plugged in. We need our refrigerator plugged in at least the day before we pack it to get it cold enough. While packing we may need the AC on if it's hot. If we pack at night, the lights need to be on. It's plugged in to vacuum upon returning. We're given 72 hours to park, repair, pack, clean etc. only. You can complain to Community Watch if the time is extended if it bothers you. They do keep track of when they see it there and will let the folks know if they're there too long. No one should abuse the length of time. 72 hours is plenty.
