I am always curious as to why people would divorce after 38 years. It says in the article he has Parkinson's. Would health issues, be the reason?

One of my uncles did the same thing. Apparantly, they have been having fights and he got tired of it all. My aunt held her head up with dignity, and proved she was a classy lady, by still treating him well.

This is so sad. :(

I really admire couples that have been married a long time, who have experienced the adversities and triumphs of life as a unit, and who still like each other. It's sad to see a couple split up after 38 years, in their 70s. I wish them well.
