Hmm.. I saw one at the Hillsborough Trail and Morse entrance a week or so ago...
And, the Pinellas Pl entrance from Morse actually enters Sanibel, not Charlotte...possibly the reason there hasn't been a sign until this new part of Morse was opened.

Below is the answer I got when I asked the same question last year.
"With regard to the sign, as The Villages progressed different design
standards were implemented throughout the community. The design
standards that were applied south of C.R. 466 and 466A provided for each
Village neighborhood to have entry signage on the major thoroughfares
such as Morse Boulevard and Buena Vista Boulevard. The design standards
also provided that beyond the entry way signage on the major
thoroughfares, each Village would be identified by the Village
Recreation Center located in that particular neighborhood."
I think what she is trying to say is that since we are not on a main thoroughfare we do not get a sign. I have not checked other villages to see if that is consistant.

Tamarind Grove does not have a Entrance sign, only a sign by the rec area/pool. I also think that this is true for Buttonwood and Pennecamp, but not 100% sure of that.

It's already up at the entrance from Morse Blvd to Hillsborough Trail.

Correct. A number of Villages don't have signage----depending where they happen to be located. Sometimes you don't know for sure what Village you are in as you go from one to another. Fernandiana no sign either.

Sometimes I wonder if folks read any of the replies to the first post before writing their reply.
Charlotte does seem to be a big village. Does anyone have any statistics as to how many homes are (will be) in Charlotte, and how that compares to other villages?

It's true for Poinciana as well
