For the 3rd Q the foreclosure rate in Florida was 1 out of every 95 homes which was third highest statewide rate for a state in the country! Could this foreclosure rate permeate to TV and leave many unoccupied homes?

I doubt it, I think the TV buyers are a lot different than the population at large.
My humble opinion

I agree with JohnN. Foreclosures in TV would be rare. However, some of those who are carrying the expenses of two (2) homes while waiting for their home in the North to sell will face increased pressure. Either they will be forced to lower their listing price or they will sell their TV home. Keeping in mind that there already are sellers in TV who want out for various reasons prices will continue to adjust to market conditions. Everything for sale from pencils to homes must be marked to market. When a store has too much inventory and not enough buyers, sale prices reduce that inventory. Foreclosures in TV - NO....price adjustments - YES. At least, throughout 2008, anyway.

llaran,
try www.realtytrac.com
it's an interesting site, though most of what I've read says foreclosures can be tricky business for those inexperienced, so be careful

There are a few foreclosures (or notices) in TV:

Certainly low compared to the nation at this point, but let's face it, TV is a community with 1000's of inhabitants and circumstances. Sometimes life gets in the way.
