Tarpon Springs is quite a drive. Are there any good ones nearby?

bestMickey,

We just love Taki's in the Lowes Plazaon 441. The food is authentic and delicious and very reasonably priced. :2cool: :

Taki's first restaurant is in Leesburg and has always gotten good reviews. It's nice to hear they can successfully run two restaurants in the area.

Can't decide, Takis has a Greek sampler which is enough variety (and food) for either two meals or two people. The outside is deceiving. It's really quite nice inside.

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll be sure to visit once I relocate to TV.

My wife and I have been to both Takis several times, the best one is the one in Leesburg.
Food is great, wait staff is great and the atmosphere is much, much better that the one by Lowes.
We only go the Leesburg now.

We tried Takis in Leesburg last night. Nice atmosphere and good service but the food wasn't quite as good as some of the Greek diners in the NYC Metro area. I had the pork souvlaki. Rose had the Chicken souvlaki. What we did like was the 2 draft beers for $3 and 2 glasses of house wine for $5; and the Greek salad and garlic bread. It was more food than we could eat. It's definitely worth a second visit.

George,
The next time you go to Takis in Leesburg ask the waitress for a saucer, then pour a little of the Greek Salad dressing in the saucer and dip the garlic bread in it -It's great. We have found that Takis has very good food, it's definitely a reasonable price for the amount of food you get. We also love the greek salad.
