Does anybody have any experience with Village Palms landscaping?
I'm trying to decide on which landscaper to call and they have a very good website.
I know a lot of people on TOTV are partial to Ron's Landscaping and I do plan on calling him too.

Recently redid our front landscaping. Excellent job from start to finish. Extremely pleased with the job.

They are a family run business. They have their own nursery and have been around for a while.

I know Uptown Girl used them for her property and it's lovely...

I interviewed, got designs and quotes from 4 landscape companies who are frequently discussed here. The only company who came up with a creative design from our list of must haves was Wendy at Village Palms. All 4 were within $100 on a $6000 project when they all quoted the exact brick work, pavers and plantings. Wendy was here when her crew (8-10) arrived and gave additional instructions over and above the design drawing. Came back on day 2 and was not satisfied with the shape of the retaining wall and she had them redo it. 8 months later and the work is as good as the day they finished. Was concerned about the irrigation system not covering the new platings so they sent out a worker to check the heads and decided a couple more were needed at no charge. No mater who you hire make sure they get Architectural Review approval, they have workers compensation insurance (to easy to get hurt and w/o insurance you, the homeowner is responsible), do not pay until job is completed to your satisfaction and finally you get detailed watering, fertilizing and trimming instructions!
Yes, I give Village Palms an unconditional recommendation as we are completely satisfied!

Sounds good. Do you have any pictures of the work that was done?

Our experience was the same as this poster. We wanted to redo our CYV landscaping (installed 8years ago) and modernize it. Mike the landscape designer showed up every day to check on the progress. They needed to readjust one of the sprinkler heads and took care of it quickly. Another pleased customer.

I second this recommendation. We had them install a side patio and surrounding landscaping and were completely satisfied. We will be using them again to add some landscaping now to the front of our corner lot. Wendy is the best!

Good to know about Village Palms. We were also considering Mansfield Landscaping which also got excellent reviews but he seemed NOT to excited about modest ($2k plus) improvements to a patio villa. It sounded like he was only interested in CYVs and up to Designers.

I went with Jamie's Landscaping and am very satisfied. They completed the job when they said they would and they are very good at working with you throughout the process. 352-308-7412.

They are also Villagers and live just three houses from me. Great people - really stand behind their work.

I had them come over last week to discuss my landscaping. They really listened to me on what I was looking for and came up with a great plan. I am scheduled to have it installed March 21st. I hope it turns out as good as I think it will and as good as their computer images depicted. I will let you all know.

Make sure you know exactly what you are paying for. Village Palms like to boost the price

I will. What they quoted me was actually about what I was expecting and they threw in a couple of free 'extras' which I didn't expect but appreciated.

That was not our experience with Village Palms. They added things with no increase in price. We received a quote from a TOTV advertiser and their price was higher with the stipulation it might be higher depending on what they might to do to the irrigation system. Village Palms provided a computer designed plan and we could move/add/subtract things. Our CYV redo is beautiful...we are happy customers. Shop around...many good established landscaping companies in this area as you can tell from posts on this site.

We found that we got a lot more for our money with Village Palms over other estimates and they stuck to the quote.
