For those of you who expressed a wish to see Justin Bieber deported there is a petition on the whitehouse site you can sign to have Obama revoke his green card on the grounds of moral turpitude. It probably won't come to anything as the need 100,000 signatures but who knows maybe it will send a message.

But Trudy, The Canadians are our FRIENDS. I doubt they want him back.

But we have enough of our own home grown morally bankrupt youth to deal with let them deal with theirs. Anyone notice he started these antics after he started hanging out with Usher.

Those White House petitions don't get traction because in order to sign one, you have to register.

First, let's see a deportation petition at the White House against Dennis Rodman.

Fat chance that will happen.

Deport him on the grounds that he is young, and can act stupid.? NOT!!!!!!

He needs time to get his act together and appreciate, what all his new wealth, can do for him.

Ah Yes. The age old quandary. The "other generation". An old song from Flower Drum Song. You have to be patient. Some of you will remember.

Yes, this is problematic. Should we actually be able to deport this (worthless waste of a life) Bieber, the Canadians might actually invade Michigan or New York or something.

Couldn't really blame them if they did.

There does seem to be a Canadian invasion of Florida about this time every year.
We will fight them on the beaches....or maybe not.:boxing2:

Others said in another thread they wanted to do something as I came across this I just passed on the knowledge. And maybe I don't have anything better to do, maybe I live to post things that irritate the hall monitors.

I have to admit I don't give a rat's behind about Justin Bieber. He's young and foolish and who wasn't at that age. Doesn't affect my life whatever he does. Does anyone really care? Moral torpitude? Seriously?

So very true. Who's morality shall we use to JUDGE this young man? Your's? Mine? The press? The faithful? The faithless?

I am really amused to read all the posts about JB and a possible action to deport him. How serious is that what he did as a 19 years old youngster? Did he blow up buildings, sold drugs, used guns or did he spy around or did other crime activities? Let us think about what we did when we were in this age. I do not mean to excuse all things what he did, I mean just to understand and be a little bit broader minded.

Just a guess, and I am ready for the flames...but I suspect most of the folks here who talk about deporting him are somewhat jealous of this celebritite's money and his "I can do anything" attitude. I'm not saying his attitude is right, but come on...who wouldn't have loved to have all the money you could ever use, and do wild and crazy things when we were his age?

It is obvious to many of us that he is in a downward spiral from drugs. Wild and crazy yes, but not "good" wild and crazy.

I think that there is much levity and joking on this thread and never for one second did I think the OP seriously meant for us to sign a petition to deport Justin Bieber.

As for why would "old people" be interested? I think many of us are interested in what is going on in the world and may shake our heads at it in a sage manner, but we ain't dead yet. Plus we do not want to be out of the loop when our grandchildren call us.

I would not under any circumstances change places with Justin Bieber. He would be so fortunate to have what we have when he is our age. I think most of us were a good deal more mature when we were his age. I had to be. Most of us had to be.

Senior Bieber Fever maybe? Nah, but I am always interested in the news of the day. Even when it's about a young entertainer who has too much, way too soon, and appears to have nothing to keep him grounded. The tween girls love him. Not someone I want my granddaughter looking up to.

When I asked my grandchildren about him, they were not impressed with him.
They have moved on to the next "heartthrob".
I don't remember his name, but you can find the doll in your local toy department.

just ignore him. with the limited amount of talent that he has, and the fact that his target demographic is getting older and will become disinterested in what he has to offer, will make him irrelevant in due time. by the time 2020 rolls around it wil be Justin who?
to change the subject, Justin Timberlake has shown himself to be a creative force to be reckoned with. he is evolving, and broadening his appeal to those of many age groups. and he has talent.

They won't let my son into Canada because he was arrested for a DUI when he was younger. It was lowered to a violation and has since gone to AA every night. Being older and a school teacher (first grade) with a masters in education, sober for 10 years, means nothing to the Canadian government. His appeal is in the Canadian consulate. All this and JB gets a free pass. Also don't forget the Toronto mayor. If he didn't have a Canadian girlfriend I would tell him just stay here in the states but that's another story in itself !!!!!!!

I agree that the Immigration rules need revision, both in Canada and the USA. (The US Government limits Canadians to spending 182 days in the USA in a calendar year. Even if a Canadian owns a home in Florida and pays for their own health care.)

P.S. The Toronto Mayor is a huge embarassment to most Canadians. He makes me cringe. Justin Bieber is just a young punk with too much success and without the maturity to handle it. I hope he grows up soon, without hurting anyone in the process.

The petition has now reached well over 100,000 signatures, so now the white house must respond on any action it will take.

This petition nonsense is absurd. Seems like an awful lot of people need to get a life. He's a young punk. His actions are not affecting anyone but him. People need to get over themselves and their fake righteous behavior.

Personally, I feel that President Obama has more pressing things than to think about deporting Justin Beiber.

Give the issue to both houses of Congress at the same time. It will consume two years of their time - and they will accomplish nothing.

Actually, Beiber's charges were dropped except for the resisting arrest without violence.

I think that was the required signatures before the white house would even read it. I doubt that any action will come of it but my hope is that someone will give the kid a wake up call. Maybe when those around him think their meal ticket is becoming less popular they will act in everyones best interest.

TORONTO (AP) - Justin Bieber turned himself in to Toronto police on an assault charge Wednesday, the second arrest in a week for the baby-faced 19-year-old pop star.
