I have been posting about the tragedy of the Pittsburgh Police K9 Officer Rocco, who died after being stabbed.
Here is a very interesting article about emergency vet services, how they have expanded away from the big teaching universities and gone out into communities. It also talks about how dog owners can donate their dogs' blood, since most emergency vet facilities don't have a lot of blood on hand.
