We need to start an ILLINOIS CLUB

We are originally from Illinois, and several of my friends from Illinois come here in the winter for a few months, and I've seen many cars with Illinois license plates.

And there are several permanent residents of The Villages from Illinois.

So now we need an ILLINOIS CLUB!

Anyone else out there in TOTV land want to help me start one?

They even will take members from Chicago!!! :bigbow:

WOW! I didn't realize that! We are from Sterling, which is about an hour south of Rockford and an hour west of DeKalb.

Yes,indeed, there is a very active club that meets on the fourth Monday of every month at Captiva Rec Center. Our doors open at 6 pm and our meetings start at 6:30 pm. Our email address is southernilclub@gmail.com if you'd like more information. We have a ladies luncheon on the last Wednesday of every month. We have members from all over the state...even as far north as Joliet. Everyone is welcome!

The last I knew, there were two huge Chicago area clubs called Illinois clubs, one meeting at Paradise, and a Peoria club with 140 plus members that meets at Sea Breeze -- FWIW

There is a Chicago club and use to have an Illinois club. I have heard there is a Southern Illinois club. There is also a Peoria night once a year. Check out the Southern Ill. club first to see if they include all of ILL except for Chicaogas

Southern Illinois Club will not exclude any Illinoisan! The Illini club is primarily Illinois fans who are fans of Illini sport teams and they meet at sports Bar to cheer on the Illini. :coolsmiley:
