Tree trimming/pruning recommendations

Hi!

Can anyone recommend a good person/company that trims large trees, like Live Oaks, and prunes Crape Myrtles?

Be sure to get a licensed arborist. They know proper pruning techniques. Also, it's best to wait intil March 15 in this area.

I believe crape myrtles should be pruned when dormant, which should be about now. Trim out any branches that are interfering with other branches. Otherwise, trim branches by about a third of their length. Blooms will only form on new growth.
