Tax preparer - Mike Mastin

Okay Folks....Tax time is here. I am using this as a sounding board. The tax preparer mentioned in the title...we have used for the last 2 years of taxes. I am currently stuck in United States Tax Court system with NO help from him.

He claims to be a Village Resident but only rents during tax season and then disappears and doesn't return phone calls or emails. He hides behind an answering service. I would investigate this person before I would release my tax information....as we will never release our information to him again.

We are VERY disappointed in the service he doesn't provide after you use him. He speaks a good game and presents himself very professional.
Please beware!!!

I can ditto your feelings. I called him 3 times last year, giving him plenty of time to reply since it was tax season, but he never returned any of my calls. To anyone else thinking that they may want to contact him, good luck. My advice, move on. He's obviously not interested.

It is sad to be lied too and then this couple disappears. His wife portrays herself as a financial advisor...but really it is Mr. Mastin that is doing the advising. They wanted us to release all our investments to them so they could reinvest them. THANK GOD....we didn't do that.
