:dontknow: This is our first Thanksgiving in TV and neither of us wants to cook for the holiday. We're leaning towards going to one of the country clubs but don't know which one, any recommendations?

Redwitch invited all the TOTVers to her place for Thanksgiving - see her post further down.

Redwitch - ur welcome, hope you have a big group of TV guests and a good time.

We have to go to my sister-in-laws ranch in Winters again for about the 20th straight year without left overs.

Where in the East Bay did you live and how did you find TV? (my family is originally from Chicago and my mother has lived in TV, Orange Blossom, for about 15 yrs)

Ever since it was just the two of us, I have not enjoyed holiday cooking. So, several years ago we started a new tradition which continued here in the Villages. We have reservations at Tierra del Sol who does a great job on holiday dinners! :joke:

Lopez country club has been advertising Thanksgiving dinner for $17.95 per person. We stopped over to make reservations and found out that it is strictly first come first serve--no reservations.

Tierra del Sol takes reservations. That's one reason we like to go there. :#1:

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Mallory Hill CC. It was a little high in price, but delicious and plenty to eat. I took a doggie bag home and ate on it for two days. Turkey was real not pressed. They fixed up the place beautifully after the tornado. :#1:
