Hi, I live right there too, and if you use my experience, it takes me anywhere from 1 hour 30 min to 3 hours depending on how lost I get, lol... I have a terrible time finding that airport. I don't know why, it just confuses me.

That's why I take Tampa most of the time if I can. Door to Door it takes me 1 hour 30 min and I never get lost, lol.

Sorry don't mean to joke, getting back on topic, I'd say it should take you 1 hour and a half to Orlando. In my experience, there hasn't been traffic problems on the turnpike so it should be okay.

Hour.

Add a half hour as security.

Add parking, walking, rental return time.

If you look on google maps, you can see travel times with real time traffic. Plus you can see mileage and times using different routes. Normally you can get to Orlando airport in 1 hour 10 minutes but can be longer depending on time of day. Also, I like going through Leesburg on 441/27 to Clermont then get on the turnpike. On the way home, I can stop and sample some wine at the Clermont winery. Saves a few bucks on tolls and takes about the same amount of time.

don't you get on the turnpike long before you get to Clermont?

It's 3 miles from the turnpike entrance off 27 to Lakeridge Winery in Clermont.

And 8.6 miles from the Turnpike to the city of Clermont via us27.
I just thought it might be confusing to someone who didn't know, to go to Clermont to pick up the turnpike.

I've done the trip many times to drop my wife off at the airport for curbside check-in. It takes 2 hours and 14 minutes ROUND TRIP from the Village of Sanibel. That include getting her bags out of the car, and saying our good byes. I take 27 to Florida Turnpike near Clermont.
