Do we own the land our house sets on?

Curious, do we own the land our house sets on or is it considered community property? The reason I ask I see a lot of dog owners walking their dogs on a LEASH. Yet they allow their dogs to wander way up on other peoples yards to releave themselves. Then they trot up there close to the house to pick up after them. The dog is on a LEASH. They control where the dog wanders. When we had a dog, he was let out in our own back yard to releave himself and we cleaned up after him. If we walked him to the park he was on a short leash not allowed to wander in other peoples yard. We love dogs but come on now pet owners have a little consideration for your neighbors.

FYI...you'll get nowhere on this. The majority believe this behavior is OK, and those of us that don't like it are dog haters, which is absolutely NOT TRUE. However, with that thought in mind, rather than having to deal with my used kitty litter in the garage until trash day, I have started taking the boxes over to the homes of the dog owners and dumping it out on their lawns. So far, so good....

To answer your question, we own the land. We get no where with controlling the dogs on here. There are numerous threads. I have resorted to fighting with the neighbors as no one else can help
