New social club for the Paradise Center

A friend of mine and myself would like to see a social club for the historical section of the Villages. There are lots of new residents and we would like them to get together and have social functions like they do in the newer villages. We went to the rec center and they took our application and if they approve it you will be seeing a survey in the newspaper if anyone is interested. Can I have some feedback on this from anyone on the historical section.

JudyLou -- What counts as the historical section? We just bought north of 466 in Rio Grande.

Technically the other side of 441/27 which includes Country Club Hills, Orange Blossom, Silver Lake, etc. is the historical section. It is just across 441 from Spanish Springs Town Center. I am amazed to hear they don't have a social club. We live south of 466 but play pinochle at Paradise and they seem to be very active socially.
