It's taking $121 for me to get these services. About 50% more than were I'm from...what are you paying? and if less are you happy and what dentist?

Cleaning - $78
Exam by dentist - $38 (New patient may be a bit higher.)
Looks like your quote is right in line with what I pay.
Full xrays - $98 - Assume your price does not include any xrays. If it does, it's a great price.....at least for The Villages.
I go to Palm Ridge Dental - Dr. Jaber.

I find it about right!!! It's the other procedures, that get real costly. Seems like this is the fluoride generation now, with less cavity's, but more crowns, root canals, bridges, etc etc etc!!! Today's dental theory (from what I can see, maybe I'm wrong) that they try to save every tooth, instead of pulling them, like they did years ago.

It sounds about right for my dentist which is Buena Vista Dental (Dr Kelly McKnight). I highly recommend her.

These prices in line with what we pay in Ohio, except when I've asked here, the dentists I've checked with require a full set of x rays if you don't have a set to give them that's been taken within the last year.
Now I have to find out if any of the recommended ones will take our dental insurance, which we have for another year and half or so. We are snowbirds and had been scheduling stuff up north in summer and again in December, but might not be going back every December, plus need to have one around here anyway, in case of dental emergencies.

It should cost about $60, without X-Rays.. Give or take a little.

OK..it should cost.....is this based on "your" first hand experience here in the villages or simply a guess from back home. If you are paying $60 for a cleaning and Dr exam locally ...who is the dentist....and moreso, would you recommend him or her!

when on 44l/27 south becomes 441 when heading south to Leesburg, there is a giant sign when you pass Sonny's BBQ on the left side that advertises dental cleaning and exam for $49....

Many folks have seen or heard about those Villages ads that say residents can live here like millionaires for the rest of their lives and they have adjusted their rates accordingly.

You might want to search Sunrise Dental and check them out. Pretty poor reviews!

New in the Villages, both of us anticipate plenty of dental work, have two dental insurances, need your help in finding a good dentist.
Thank you
