Besides the free entertainment at the town squares, what's going on at The Villages on New Year's Eve? Anything at the rec centers? We are snowbirds who won't be down for another two weeks and don't know what's going on. We have friends who will be visiting us and they would like dinner and dancing. Any recommendations?

We were at the LSL square for New Years this year and it was great. Once you get here you can start checking the papers at the rec center for upcoming events. Good luck and ENJOY.

NYE at square is more than just entertainment....lots of party tables, noisemakers, and revelry. Also, I believe Rocky and the Rollers are playing at one of the squares. They always put on a good show.

Last year I went down to the Spanish Springs Square
as usual...lots of fun neighborhoods had tables set up but I live on The Old side, and none of the neighbors on my street ever do anything
Hopefully this year will be better
I might try LSL square instead
