Every time I boot up I get the following message.

APSDaiemon.exe Systems error "This program can't start because MSVCR 80.dll is missing from your computer. You will need to reinstall the program."

I note that it has affected I tunes which I need to reinstall but can't locate.

I also note that my computer is taking too much time to load up despite the fact that my internet speed was greatly enhanced by my internet company.

any suggestions?

Remove iTunes and related components from the Control Panel

Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order. Then, restart your computer:

iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)

Important: Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components, may have unintended affects.

Once you have installed all these programs, go to apple.com/itunes and download & install the latest version of iTunes.

This should cure your problems....

BTW.... I just used this process to repair a friends computer this week, with the same error message and iTunes issues, so I know it works

Memason is 100% correct. If you uninstall and re-install iTunes, it will fix the problem. As for the computer startup time, grab a stopwatch. If it is over 2-2.5 minutes to fully startup, you probably have a virus or other programs that are hindering the full potential of your PC.
